Mahud

The Mahud (possibly derived from "Mahout") was a Games Workshop name for the Oliphaunt's driver in The Lord of the Rings Strategy Battle Game. According to Games Workshop, they were a tribe of shamans who were the first to tame the Mumakil of Harad.
According to Games Workshop, the Mahud were black-skinned men that lived in the regions of Far Harad, they rode Oliphaunts with war towers on them into battle. They also rode camels and were among the half-trolls of Far Harad.
