Mahanama College is one of the leading boys' schools in Sri Lanka. Located in Colombo 03, Kolpity, it serves more than 4500 students.

Mahanama College was founded in 1954 with around 50 pupils and 3 teachers. In its brief history of about 52 years, Mahanama surpassed many schools founded earlier. Mahanama College was named as a “A” listed college of the country, one of the youngest schools in the country to receive such a distinction. Mahanama has produced many reputed professionals in fields such as management, science, telecommunication and sports. Mahanama College is well noted in the country for the discipline of its students.
