Magna Hungaria
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Magna Hungaria (literally "Great Hungary" but meaning early homeland) was an area settled by the proto-Magyars. It was located on the western side of the Urals, in the region today known as Bashkortostan. The Proto-Magyars moved to this area from the Hungarian Urheimat at Yugra. From Magna Hungaria, they moved further to the west, to the area known as Levedia.
The remnants of proto-Magyars founded Pascatir.
