Magical Nyan Nyan Taruto (魔法少女猫たると?) is a Japanese anime television series.
This series centers around the exploits of a race of pet "cats", drawn as catgirls and the occasional catboy. There is some evidence that the human characters see them as normal cats, however.
"Nyan-nyan" means "meow-meow", so the heroine is a "magical meow-meow girl." Because the Japanese language often refers to things by the sound they make, another translation, "magical cat girl", is possible.
