Maggie Wheeler

Maggie Wheeler (born August 7, 1961 in New York City as Maggie Jakobson) is an American actress.
She auditioned for the role of Monica Geller on the American series Friends, but ended up playing Janice, a character who is a parody of Fran Drescher.
She also auditioned for the role of Debra Barone in the American sitcom "Everybody Loves Raymond". Although she was the producers' choice, CBS wanted a less ethnic type. She did however end up playing the recurring role of Debra's friend, Linda.
She was a girlfriend of David Duchovny long before he married Tea Leoni.
She also appeared on the hit comedy Seinfeld and had a star billing in the first season of Ellen.
In 2005, Wheeler starred opposite David DeLuise on the NBC pilot "The Sperm Donor".
Wheeler also provided the voice of Odile in Barbie's Swan Lake.
Wheeler has appeared in many other TV roles, including a brief appearance on the children's program Drake & Josh and an appearance on ER.
