Magdalena Forsberg (born July 25, 1967 in Örnsköldsvik as Magdalena Wallin) is a Swedish cross country skier and biathlete. She has been married to Henrik Forsberg since 1996, also a biathlete.
She won the Biathlon World Cup each year from 1997 to 2002. She also won the World Championships six times, became runner-up once, and placed third four times. At the 2002 Winter Olympic Games, she won two bronze medails.
Forsberg won the Holmenkollen ski festival biathlon event four times with one individual win (1995) and three pursuit wins (2000-2).
This makes her the most successful female biathlete so far.
She is the sole Swedish athlete to have won Jerringpriset four times. Magdalena Forsberg has retired from active sports after the 2001/2002 season.
