Magda's Funny Bits is a television comedy featuring Magda Szubanski that was broadcast on the Nine Network, Australia in early 2006.

Magda Szubanski played most of her famous characters from her years of being a comedian. She chose four characters from her years on Fast Forward, Big Girl's Blouse and Kath and Kim.

Chanelle (say Shan-e-l) From Chanelle's Institute of Hair and Beauty. Chanelle first appeared in Fast Forward as the hair and beauty lady, however in Magda's funny bits, she advertises faulty products which are more threat than help, and shows never-seen "Televisiong Advertorials" on a show based on Mornings With Kerri-Anne. The host of the show (Mornings with Janelle), Janelle was played by Marg Downey.

Mary McGregor (say Mary Mc-greg-oar)who hosts the show and tends to tell stories about her love life and family. She is a scotish alcoholic, who once was looking for a scotch sponsor to get free beer.

Lynne (say Lin) hosts a Australia's Funniest Home Videos and appears to always be in competition with Toni Pearen. Lynne shows funny videos in her sketches but also makes fun of both Toni Pearon and Nine Network CEO Eddie McGuire.

Sharon Strzelecki (say Share-on Strez-licky) Hosts Sharons Wider World Of Sports based on the Nine Networks Nine's Wide World of Sport. Sharon shows clips of sporting disasters in her sketches and like in Kath & Kim has a new injury for every episode.

The Nine Network licenced five episodes to air four of them aired before the Commonwealth Games, however at the conclusion of the games the fifth episode didn't go to air.
