Maestro (film)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Maestro is a movie based on the novel of the same name by Peter Goldsworthy that is currently in pre-production.

This movie will be directed by Catherine Jarvis. It will star Tom Sturridge as Paul, a piano student who slowly develops an admiration for his tutor Eduard Keller played by Klaus Maria Brandauer. Set in the Australian outback of the 1960s, the soundtrack will likely be a mix of popular Australian rock music of the period, and piano driven classical music. The classical score is currently being composed by Craig Leon, and will be performed by Lang Lang and the Dresden Staatskapelle Orchestra
