Maemo

Maemo is a development platform for handheld devices. It is used by the Nokia 770 Internet Tablet.

Maemo library stack looks like:

Hildon
GTK+ D-Bus
X Window System
Debian
GNU/Linux

The open source components are well known desktop Linux libraries to make application porting trivial.

Development for Maemo is done with Scratchbox Crosscompilation toolkit.
