Talk:Madeleine Carroll

[edit] Headers
Just a couple of comments/questions about the headers. Firstly, was she ever actually called "English Rose"? If so, it needs to mentioned, and attributed to a source within the text rather than only in the header. Using it just in the header suggests that the term has been coined by Wikipedia. If this is the case it should be removed. It should only be used, I believe, if it was a genuine tag given to her during her career, that she was well known by. Examples of this are "The It Girl" (Clara Bow) and "The Oomph Girl" (Ann Sheridan). These names were coined for publicity, but they stuck. Is "English Rose" the same? I don't know much about Madeleine Carroll, but I've not read it before.
Secondly, the next header is about her becoming a Hitchcock blonde, which to me is a too-specific header that is only addressed by the first paragraph of the text that follows. If this is a work in progress I won't interfere by changing it, but if the Hitchcock reference is not going to be expanded upon considerably, the header should be changed to something more generic such as "Career".
