his album is not a grunge album. If the guys from Iron Maiden and Judas Priest made an album that sounded just like Public Enemy or N.W.A. you wouldn't say it was a heavy metal album, you would say it was a rap album. I think it should say "rock band".

Maybe this is just my personal bias taking over (well, it is, in fact) but I believe it should mention his death being 8 years after Kurt Cobain's death or apparent suicide or alleged suicide instead of the definitive "suicide," since it is still widely disputed. I, for one, think he was murdered but there's a good way to introduce a little more NPOV to this article. I'll leave this up, and if nobody has any real objections after a week or so, I'm gonna change it to one of the aforementioned terms. --MUSpud2 22:22, 12 April 2006 (UTC)

i feel that if mention of cobain's suicide is made, then it should be stated as 'suicide', and not 'alleged suicide' or similar, since the officially-recorded cause of death is in fact suicide. maybe mention that the cause of death is still widely disputed by fans, and link to the kurt cobain article.
furthermore, staley's exact date of death could not be determined, and was only estimated to have been approximately 2 weeks prior to the discovery of his (decomposed) body on april 19th 2002.--Kingreka 21:07, 2 July 2006 (UTC)

this album is not really a grunge album im not sure what it is but i think it should delve into its diversity a little bit so people dont get disapointed when they find out its not all grunge tunes.Curefreak

[edit] Requested move

"I'll spare you the long story, but the album should be mad season, and the band should be Mad Season. Because of the capitalization differences (and a note atop each of the pages), parenthenses are totally unneeded. [edit] Comments

Unless a good reason is provided otherwise, I oppose this. The capitalization of a single letter is not sufficient to distinguish between these two in the title. In searches and in links, having a distinct title is necessary. —Centrxtalk • 03:05, 17 August 2006 (UTC)
