Madura Strait

The Madura Strait (Selat Madura) is a narrow stretch of water that separates the Indonesian islands of Java and Madura. There are small islands lying here: Kambing, Giliraja, Genteng, and Ketapang.
The Suramadu Bridge is currently under construction between Surabaya on Java and Bangkalan on Madura.
