Madog Fychan

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Madog Fychan hereditary prince of Powys Fadog 1304-c.1325 probably succeeded to his father Madog Crypl's titles on his death in 1304. There is some confusion in genealogical tables at this time, with some charts indicating that following Madog Crpyl's death the titles passed directly to his "son" Gruffydd Fychan II. Others indicate that Gruffydd Fychan II was in fact the grandson of Madog Fychan.

It seems likely that the son of Madog Fychan was Gruffydd ap Madog Fychan whose own son was Gruffydd Fychan II.
