Madog Crypl or Madog Crippil was the hereditary prince of Powys Fadog and Lord of Dinas Bran following the death of his father Gruffydd Fychan I in 1289. He is sometimes known as Madog III of Powys Fadog. He did not live long and died in 1304. He may have been succeeded by his "son" Gruffydd Fychan II who is reported to have died in 1369. The length of this reign seems unlikely. Some genealogical tables indicate he had a son called Madog Fychan whose own grandson was probably Gruffydd Fychan II.
