[edit] Etymology
Compton, when asked about the name madconfusion, describes the meaning as:
It started out as a description of the sounds that I created, some of the earlier unreleased tracks were sort of electro-industrial meets techno-dance, and a friend used to describe the sounds as crazy (I think it was a compliment). The name sort of stuck and I used it as the name of my other project developing multimedia applications and decided it was a good name to hang on to; it is actually a little tricky trying to think up an original name for a band. |
[edit] Genre
madconfusion's sound has been described as electronica, alternative, industrial or industrial rock and techno.
