Mad Catz Interactive, Inc. engages in the manufacture, distribution, and marketing of peripherals for the interactive entertainment industry. Its video game accessories and software are marketed under the Mad Catz and GameShark brand names. The company produces aftermarket peripherals and accessories for the Nintendo Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, Nintendo 64, Nintendo Game Cube, Sony PlayStation and PlayStation 2, Sega Dreamcast, Xbox and the Xbox 360. Its products include video game controllers and accessories, including control pads, game enhancement software, steering wheels, joysticks, memory cards, video cables, light guns, dance pads, and microphones, as well as technologies, such as the MC2 Next Generation Racing Wheel, Dream Pad, Dream Blaster, Dual Force Analog Controller, Panther XL, Micron Wireless control pad for Nintendo Game Cube, game shark for almost all consoles and handhelds and the Dual Force Hand-Held Racing Wheel. Mad Catz markets its products in the United States, Canada, and Europe. The company was founded in 1989 and is headquartered in San Diego, California.
