Lode Runner Online: Mad Monks' Revenge is an enhanced version of the 1994 computer game Lode Runner: The Legend Returns. Contrasted to the prior game, Lode Runner Online is 32-bit, thus playable on almost all new Windows machines. As the title suggests, the game features online functionality so that players can battle or work together from remote locations.
Lode Runner Online added several new features to Lode Runner: The Legend Returns. New turf types appear and disappear at a regular rate. Liquid traps kill players and monks who walk into them. Blue and gold items can only be picked up and used by the appropriate color player.
Additionally, Lode Runner Online fixed many of the annoying bugs and glitches from the previous game. The Mad Monks did not officially get their revenge.
