[edit] Laser hair removal
re your comment about unfair removal of links. The link was removed in relation to WP:EL. If you feel it unfair, there are valid avenues to persue. But please don't just put the link back in because you feel it is unfair. Thanks for your understanding. Rob (Talk) 09:00, 6 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Invite to CLINMED et al.
I've noticed that you've been editing medicine related articles -- from your contributions. We have a place where the medically minded people hang out: WikiProject "Clinical Medicine". You are invited to join or just browse the talk page, which is also known as the doctors' mess.
If your interests are in nephrology, radiology, GI or pre-clinical medicine-- there are projects specifically for those things.
If you're looking for info on how to do references see WP:CLINMED/Writing_medical_articles. I look forward to more of your edits. Nephron T|C 08:07, 8 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] re: I dont know your background...
I believe I understand your point of view and certainly I conceed I know little of the subject in question in terms of content. I do know that that article had a lot of edits and reverts regarding links to commercial sites, which is why I have it on my watch list. IMHO the issue at hand is whether the web link, any web link, is simply a link to a commerical site whose only purpose is to "sell people something" or whether its a relevant link in terms of the wiki guidelines for such things. Lets face it, if someone wants 'laser hair treatment' they can google it for Petes sake. In terms of your edit, time will tell I guess - thats the good thing about wiki, majority rules etc. BTW- its a good idea to sign all edits with four ~ characters as it makes it easier for people to see who has left them a message.
BTW- Thankfully I have a lovely head of hair, or maybe the treatment is to remove it?
And yes, no hard feelings. Cheers. Rob (Talk) 14:00, 11 September 2006 (UTC)
