I found no evidence that the company's name had officially changed to MDA or simply MacDonald Dettwiler. The copyright notices on the company's website reads:

Copyright © 1995-2006 MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd. All rights reserved.

Meanwhile a search at Corporations Canada shows MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Corporation (explaining www.mdacorporation.com), active and in care of MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd. -- Robocoder (talk | contribs) 11:02, 15 July 2006 (UTC)

My wife works for MDA and tells me that they have "rebranded" themselves as "MDA." It isn't entirely clear whether this is a legal name. "MacDonald Dettwiler and Associates" is still a legal name. Sewebster 07:24, 19 October 2006 (UTC)
