A maculopapular rash (little spots or bumps) is a flat red rash which may include pimples or spots similar to those caused by measles.

A macule is a flat discoloured area and a papule is a small raised lump. A maculapapular rash is a flat, red area on the skin that is covered with small confluent bumps.
