Macul

Macul (Quechua "to stretch right hand") is a municipality ("comuna") of Chile located on the province of Santiago in the Santiago Metropolitan Region. It has an area of 12.9 km², a population of 112,535 (2002 census) and an average household income of $22,459 in PPP US dollars (2000).
