Macquarie University railway station is a station currently under construction on the CityRail network in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia located in the suburb of Macquarie Park. The station is an underground station. It is so named because it will serve the nearby Macquarie University. When the line is opened in 2008, the station is expected to be served by 4 trains per hour for most of the day, with trains starting from Hornsby and joining a truncated Northern Line at North Sydney.
Macquarie University station has an island platform, but because the tunnels are spaced at the same distance apart as this island platform, there are no curves in the platforms. The station will have Easy Access for wheelchairs.
