A fictional character from the Bubblegum Crisis anime, Mackey Stingray is the younger brother of Sylia Stingray. In both versions he is a whiz kid with computers and technology. In the original version he is even the sole caretaker of the hardsuits, but in the 2040 series, he acts as an apprentice to Nigel Kirkland.

In the original his character was extremely perverted, even to the point of incest - he constantly spied on Sylia to see her undress. By contrast, in the 2040 series, circumstances conspire to make him seem to be a pervert to Nene. (In one instance, he accidentally barged in on the Knight Sabers' dressing room.) In 2040, he is revealed to be a boomer, created by using a chip inside Sylia's brain, and his presence helps awaken the super boomer Galatea. In both versions, Mackey is also a love interest for Knight Saber Nene Romanova.
