Maciej Lampe (born February 5, 1985 in Łódź, Poland) is a professional basketball player in the NBA for the Houston Rockets, originally from Poland, but grew up in Stockholm, Sweden. He played briefly for Real Madrid in Spain in 2002-03 before being sent on loan to Universidad Complutense of LEB league, the highest minor leagues in Spain, to receive more playing time. He was drafted in the second round of the 2003 NBA Draft by the New York Knicks, after being considered a lottery pick. Lampe became the latest pick for a green-room invitee to be drafted in the history of the NBA Draft and upon walking up on stage received an exuberant "Lampe! Lampe!" cheer from the local Knicks fans in attendance. Upon sliding, Lampe was almost tearful and vowed to avenge his slip through his play. He was traded to the Phoenix Suns and later to the New Orleans/Oklahoma City Hornets. On February 13, 2006 he was traded to the Rockets for point guard Moochie Norris. Maciej will be playing in the ULEB Cup and signed a one-year deal with Dynamo St. Petersburg. The bankrupt Dynamo squad were thrown out of the Russian League one day before the start of the season. Thus, making Maciej play for the BC Khimki Moscow region.

He holds NBA career averages of 3.4 ppg, 2.2 rpg, and 0.3 apg.
