Machosexual

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Machosexual: A man who eschews modern trendy aesthetics in favor of more traditional 'manly' pursuits. The antithesis of metrosexual. As first definied by the prototype machosexual, Robert Young Pelton, "A machosexual is the polar opposite of a metrosexual. Machosexuals are resistant to fashion and harken to the call of adventure with the same passion that metrosexuals adore grooming products."

Robert Young Pelton's claim to metrosexuality has been hard earned; he has been hit head on by a car in Peru, survived a plane crash in Borneo, kidnapped in Colombia, covered numerous war zones (Chechnya, Afghanistan, Iraq, Liberia, Algeria, The Philippines, Colombia and others) usually in the company of rebel groups and is the author of "The World's Most Dangerous Places"
