REX, you have a point. At this point, all of these (3) newspapers are published in the Republic of Macedonia, however, there are newspapers and magazines in the Macedonian language that are published abroad and are mainly focused on the Macedonian diaspora (or Matia, if you prefer, Macedonian-speaking diaspora). --FlavrSavr 14:31, 12 November 2005 (UTC)

There seems to be a lot of confusion about categories that contain the word Macedonian. Therefore I added a comment to pages that evidently pertain to the Republic and that do not have word Republicin the title or elswhere. Of course, the prime exanple is the Thessaloniki newspaper Makedonia, where the category:Macedonian newspapers (that I added originally) has been reverted several times, and my comment on the category was changed by Telex. I think we definitely need a category for the newspapers published in the Republic, that would be an undercategory of Category:Newspapers by country. Maybe a solution would be to create Category:Newspapers of the Republic of Macedonia on the model of Category:Newspapers of the Republic of China. The idea of a category Category:Macedonian-language newspapers is excellent because this would be a subcategory of Category:Newspapers by language.   Andreas   (T) 17:56, 21 June 2006 (UTC)
