Bob Gratton: Ma Vie

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Bob Gratton: Ma Vie is a French-language Canadian sitcom television series on TQS, revolving around the daily activities of a "larger-than-life character". The titular Bob Gratton is suddenly rich, due to owning a gas station populated by weird employees and freeloaders after his cash. Despite his cash, Gratton remains true to his roots. Other characters in the series include Gratton's family, neighbours, and "those buxom blondes that keep showing up".[1]

The series bears quite a few parallels to English-language Canadian hit Corner Gas. Both take place in small community (Dog River, Saskatchewan in Corner Gas) gas stations, run by men surrounded by weird employees (Wanda) and freeloaders (Hank). However, Brent Leroy isn't rich like Gratton, and inherited the family business, unlike Gratton.
