User talk:M.McCoy

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Thank you very much for singing up for an account. Although we haven't done anything to prove you are who you say you are, we like to assume everyone is acting in good faith unless they demonstrate to the contrary. Whenever you sign in with your username, we will at least know it is the same person we have spoken with before. When you make an edit on a Talk page (like User talk:M.McCoy or Talk:Charles Whitman), it would be helpful if you would also type ~~~~ at the end of your remarks - this automatically adds your name and the time and date.
I don't know if you plan to visit any other pages on Wikipedia or not, but the following pages may be useful to you so I will leave them for you just in case:

Once again, welcome to Wikipedia. Johntex\talk 00:49, 23 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Third reference

Hello, thank you for your message. It is good to hear from you again. For reasons of preventing spam and other problems, I don't want to list my e-mail here. However, you can e-mail me through Wikipedia.
To do this, please go to my User page or my Talk page. On the left-hand side of your screen you should see a section labeled "toolbox". In that section is a link "E-mail this user". This will let you send me a text message.
I don't think it will allow you to send an attachment, but once I get your e-mail, then I will reply to it and at that point you will have my e-mail adress like normal and can send me an attachment.
I'm sorry about the multiple steps involved, but we will only have to go through this once and then we can e-mail like normal. Since I have your address from your message, I will also try to send you an e-mail, but I know you warned me about your spam filter, so I am not sure it will go through on the first try.
By the way, I should warn you that this is a busy week for me because I am doing some travel. So, please be patient with me if I am a little slow to respond. Thanks very much, Johntex\talk 17:44, 19 July 2006 (UTC)
