Hi M.arunprasad, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thanks for joining the coolest online encyclopedia I know of. I hope you stick around. Be sure to get involved in the community – you can contact me on my talk page if you have any questions, and you can check out the village pump, where lots of wikipedians hang out and discuss things. If you're looking for something to do, check out the community portal. And whenever you ask a question or post something on a talk page, be sure to sign your name by typing 4 tildes like ~~~~. Always sign the talk page, never the articles.

Go to tamil wikipedia's sand box there u can find enough links to type tamil characters. Using suratha's page you can type அருன்பிரசாத் by typing arunpirachaath.--Mayooresan 12:43, 14 February 2006 (UTC)

You can type in Tamil if you have Windows XP. Go to Start menu > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Character Map. Scroll down to Arial Unicode MS and copy-paste Tamil fonts therefrom. Anwar saadat 11:35, 12 May 2006 (UTC)

Ramya even i'm trying hard, I got some idea it might work out. Chennai BSNL phone directory search page, open up and try your hand on that. [edit] Request for expanding the article on TN districts

Can you help expand the articles on each district in TN with practical details? At present, senior editors are more keen on expanding TN article from international perspective. We can try expanding the articles of each district from local perspective. Its an exciting but vast project.

Thanks Anwar, i would try to contribute as much i can. But i just turned towards Hinduism project and planning to improve articles on southern temples. Let me see how things moves on, how i can contribute to it. I would appreciate if you can help the Tamil films category to reach 200. Hi arunprasad. There are one or two editors who are creating film articles of dubbed versions of films. Could you remind them to focus on original films, and not create articles for dubbed versions of films. We tend to make articles for films only if they were remade completely. Like you ; I too prefer to first update articles of offbeat and award winning Tamil movies. While I was able to modify and expand Porkaalam and Vetri Kodi Kattu (I have seen both the films.); I could'nt find the box-office result of the latter and also provide external links.Please help find it. Good Ganesh, But i would suggest you to add IMDB link and Cast & Crew section in each of the movie article you create. Check other movie articles you will get a fair idea.
Also i would like to add that copying from other websites is not at all a good idea. You can take some portion and rephrase it, but copying someone's content is condemned in Wiki due to copyrights matter. Keep up your good work :-) --M.arunprasad 11:25, 26 June 2006 (UTC)
