The M151 Military Utility Tactical Truck (MUTT) is a 1/4 ton utility truck developed by Ford Motor Company, a successor to the World War Two jeep and post-war M38/M38A1. Including the driver, it provides space for four men with equipment and has a cruising range of 482 Km or 300 miles. It was first put into service in Vietnam and played an active part in American military operations until early 1990s. It is small enough to fit inside a C-130 cargo plane, and is narrow enough to traverse areas too tight for the HMMWV.

The vehicle has a steel sheet-metal uni-body structure unlike the original Jeep which was a steel tub bolted onto a steel frame. Due to copyright restrictions, the M151 could not have Jeep's "seven vertical bars" in the grille, so it has horizontal ones. ^{[citation needed]}

The vehicle was also manufactured by Kaiser and AM General Corp.

The M151 was purchased by many other countries, including Canada, Denmark, Israel, and the United Kingdom. It was not sold on the civilian market because of different safety regulations for civilian vehicles. ^{[citation needed]}

M151 (1960) - Initial version. Because of its rear suspension construction had a tendency to flip over when performing tight turns.
M151A1 (1964) - Minor changes in the rear suspension. Addition of turn signals to front fenders.
- M151A1C - The M151A1Cequipped with a 106mm recoilless rifle on an M79 rifle mount. Capable of carrying six rounds of ammunition and weapon tools. Including the driver, it provides space for two men and has a cruising range of 442 km or 275 miles.
- M718A1 - Frontline ambulance variant.
- M1051 - Firefighting variant which saw exclusive use by the Marine Corps.
- MRC108 - Forward Air Control variant.
- M151A1D - Tactical nuclear variant.
M151A2 (1970) - The A2 had a significantly revised rear suspension that greatly improved safety in tight turns.
