Mýa is the infectious self titled debut album released by American R&B singer Mýa on April 21, 1998 on Interscope Records. (1998 in music) The album spawned three top 10 singles "It's All About Me", "Movin' On", and "My First Night With You". "It's All About Me" and "My First Night With You" reached gold status. The album went on to go platinum in October 1998. Mya self-titled debut album became one of the best top 10 selling albums of 1998 and has sold more than 2 million copies. The spotlight continued to shine on Mya when "Ghetto Superstar" became a huge hit, as did "Take Me There".
