Mêda (pron. IPA: ['medɐ]) is a municipality in Portugal with a total area of 286.1 km² and a total population of 6,000 inhabitants.
The municipality is composed of 16 parishes, and is located in the District of Guarda.
The present Mayor is João Germano Mourato Leal Pinto, elected by the Social Democratic Party.
The municipal holiday is November 11.
