M!ssundaztood (2001) |
Try This (2003) |
M!ssundaztood is the second album by pop singer P!nk, released in 2001 (see 2001 in music). It was a large success worldwide, including the hit singles "Get the Party Started", "Don't Let Me Get Me", "Just like a Pill" and "Family Portrait". Famed writer/producer Linda Perry wrote many of the songs on the album, and she even featured in one herself. As of July 2006, it had sold 5.3 million copies in the U.S. according to Nielsen SoundScan,[1] and according to a September 2003 Arista Records press release, it had sold twelve million copies worldwide.[2] (Four million copies of the singles were sold, according to P!nk herself.) The album is ranked ninety-fourth on the all-time best selling albums list in the UK, with 1,712,173 copies sold.
