Lysian (リーシャン Rīshan?) is one of the 493 fictional species of Pokémon creatures from the multi-billion-dollar[1] Pokémon media franchise – a collection of video games, anime, manga, books, trading cards and other media, created by Satoshi Tajiri. Lysian is one of the baby Pokémon that appears in Pokémon Diamond and Pearl. The purpose of Lysian in the games, anime and manga, as with all other Pokémon, is to battle both wild Pokémon, untamed creatures encountered while the player passes through various environments, and tamed Pokémon owned by Pokémon trainers.[2]

[edit] Biological Characteristics
Lysian is a small, yellow bell-like Pokémon, the pre-evolved form of Chimecho. Its mouth is similar to its evolved form's. Lysian also has a similarity to a bell in japanese's temple, usually located above the place where people throw off coins.
[edit] In the video games
Lysian can be bred from Chimecho using the new item Clear Incense. To evolve Lysian into Chimecho, Lysian must have a high level of friendship when leveling up at night.
