Lynn Faure (nee Chircop) Biography:
When it comes to music & arts, Lynn is a professional artist. She sings as a soloist and plays the piano as well. At just the age of three, Lynn had already a good ear for music and when she was four, she had taken part in a Song Contest 'Mini Kanta' which she won a year later with the song 'We Are The World'.
Lynn's involvement in music started at a very tender age. She started studying classical music with Mrs. Michelle Sant LRSM, under whose direction, Lynn, by the age of 14, had already obtained the Music Diploma (ATCL) as a pianist Associate of the Trinity College of London. She furthered her music studies in the Music Academy in Leipzig, Germany, where she had the opportunity to interpret her role as a musician in various places in Leipzig's centre.
Lynn also continued her music studies as well her academic ones where she specialised in Tourism, obtaining a Tourist Guide License specialising in English & German. Young, versatile and talented, Lynn is also fluent in English, German and Italian. She is conversant in French and Spanish.
Certainly, languages are a must for personalities who aim to reach international standard. Lynn has also obtained the IATA /UFTAA License (International Air Transport Association /Universal Federation of Travel Agents Association) and apart from being a qualified Music teacher, she has also obtained the TEFL license to teach English to foreign students.
Today, Lynn is also into classical music and performs with various renowned musicians, on various occasions, as a trio or quartet. The Director of Orchestra and Pianist, Mro. Alan Chircop had a positive influence on Lynn's musical career, owing to the fact that he is her brother.
However, proficiency has always been their typical attitude to music. Lynn has established herself, amongst her talented students, as a qualified Music teacher, specialising in Pianoforte and Voice.
Lynn sings as a soloist and plays the piano as well. Lynn was the lead Singer of several bands. The various talented and established musicians, such as Lynn's husband Antoine Faure, inspired her to write songs and give different interpretations to her music. As a Composer, Lynn is working on self-composed songs which will eventually lead to a launch of her published works in the near future. To date, Lynn performs in various localities and entertainment establishments.
As a Pop Singer, in February 2003, Lynn participated in the MaltaSong for Europe Festival,where she emerged as the Winner with the song 'To Dream Again'. Lynn represented Malta in the Eurovision Song Contest in Riga, Latvia, on 24 May 2003. For more link to www.lynnchircop.com
Lynn has been exposed to media as a pianist and singer, but her hidden talents lead her to establish herself as a Television and Radio producer and presenter, apart from her musical career.
She has produced and presented various programmes on TV such as the nominated most popular youth oriented programme 'Klabbzone' on TVM.
She also acquired experience as Radio Presenter with SUPER 1 Radio during the popular Radio programme "Separju" and "Eurovision Radio".
In Summer 2004, Lynn produced and presented the first edition of the "ta' Lynn Show"on SUPER 1 TV , which was aired every Tuesday between 6.00 - 7.30pm
Due to the success of this programme, Lynn is now hosting the Show again every Sunday morning, LIVE on Super 1 TV, this time on a bigger scale supported by her professional and well established production team.
