[edit] Life and work
Clark was born in Belo Horizonte and began painting in the 1950s. Her most widely received works were experimental installation pieces in the 1960s, some of which were on display at the 1968 Biennale.
Some critics say her artwork presaged the modern digital information era. Her later works tended to be very abstract and holistic, focusing on psychotherapy and healing.
