In many campaign settings for the Dungeons & Dragons role-playing game, Luthic is the orc deity of fertility, medicine, females and servitude. She is the wife of Gruumsh and mother of Bahgtru.
In many campaign settings, the orcish pantheon of gods consists of the leader Gruumsh, as well as Bahgtru, Ilneval, Luthic, Shargaas, and Yurtrus. In the matter, Luthic embodies all what the female orcs must stand for. Meaning being subservient to the male orcs but still protecting the cohesion of the orc society.
Luthic lives in the orcish realm of Nishrek. She is described as a matronly orc with very long claws that serve her as a weapon since only the males of the community are allowed to wield a weapon. She may also use powerful spells for the same reason.
[edit] Clergy & temples
Luthic's priests wear brown and black leather armor and fur caps. Her sacred animal is the cave bear. Her holy days are midwinter's day and she is worshipped in temples within caves. Treasures are sacrificed to her yearly.
