Species

Lurdusaurus is a genus of dinosaur which lived in the Early Cretaceous. Its fossils have been found in Niger. The type species, Lurdusaurus arenatus, was formalized by Taquet and Russell in 1999; previously, the animal was known informally as "Gravisaurus tenerensis". Like many iguanodonts, this genus had spikes on its thumbs.
