When visiting most coffee shops in America you will want to ask how their lungo is prepared. I work in one of the most popular and sought after coffee bars in Anchorage, AK. Trust me, we love our coffee up here. However, our lungos are prepared by pouring two shots of espresso into 2 ounces of hot water. I argued that this is not the proper method for preparing a lungo. To me, that is simply a small Americano. Apparently, popular takes priority over proper.
