From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The LUNCH Ensemble is the musical outreach program of the Local United Network to Combat Hunger. It is based in Mystic, Connecticut and has involved over 2,000 members since its formation by Bill Pere in 1989. The ensemble presents 5-10 concerts a year, while many more concerts by solo performers are also sponsored by LUNCH. Many of the songs they perform were written by the group's inspiration, Harry Chapin.
