Luke Wright (cricketer)

Luke Wright (born March 7, 1985) is an English cricketer. He is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-fast bowler.

Born in Grantham, Wright joined Sussex in 2004, having spent all of the rest of his career thus far at Leicestershire.

Wright had previously represented England at Under-17 level. In 2003, he travelled to Australia with the Under-19, and, against South Africa the following summer he took a hat-trick for the Under-19s, finishing with match figures of 5/46.

He was named in England's squad for the Under-19 World Cup in 2004.
