Luka Balvan

Luka Balvan (born Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina) is a Bosnian Croat musician and songwriter.

He was born in 1967 and is known as one of the top Croatian religious singers. He has also produced patriotic music.

After his family was forced to leave Banja Luka in 1993 because of the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina, he started a project called Ima jedan grad ("There is One City"). He wrote several songs about what was happening in his native city.

One of his largest performances was at a youth meeting held in Loreto, Italy at which Pope John Paul II was present. He also performed for the pope during his visit to Croatia in 1997.
