Luiz Gushiken

Luiz Gushiken was a former Brazilian communications minister. He was born August 5, 1950 in Osvaldo Cruz, Brazil, to Japanese parents from Okinawa.

He worked at Banespa and was associated with unions. He was a federal deputy in the Congress for three sessions from 1987 to 1998 and was coordinator of the presidential campaigns for Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva in 1989 and 1998.

He was recently accused and changed from his cabinet positions to a lower post.
