Luis Roche

Luis Roche Was an important urbanist and amateur film director, responsible, in great measure, for the development of Caracas's east side during the 1940's. Urbanizations such as La Castellana, Altamira, La Florida, among others, were all built on his watch. Luis Roche was a relevant diplomatic figure as well, being appointed as Venezuela's ambassdor to Argentina. He married a frech lady by the name of Beatrice Dugand, with whom he had two children, Marcel Roche and Luis Armando Roche. An important street in Altamira, Caracas bears the name Luis Roche in his honor.
