Luis Perez-Sala

Luis Perez-Sala (born in Barcelona, May 15, 1959) was a popular Catalan-Spanish driver Formula One, Formula 3, Formula 3000 and Touring Cars.
Perez-Sala contested the 1985 Italian Formula 3 Championship and moved to Formula 3000 to rather more convincing effect, won races at Birmingham and Enna in 1986. Runner-up to Stefano Modena in the 1987's F3000 title chase, drove for the Minardi Formula 1 squad for two seasons, alongside Adrian Campos, debuting from April 3, 1988, participated in 32 grand prix, scoring a career best sixth place (and 1 championship point) in the 1989 British Grand Prix. He then left F1, replaced by Pierluigi Martini, and has been a regular in the Spanish touring car championship.
