Luis Alberto "Lucho" Herrera (born May 4, 1961) is a retired Colombian road racing cyclist. In 1987, he won the overall of the Vuelta a España. In addition, he captured the Vuelta a Colombia in 1985, 1986, and 1988; the Dauphiné Libéré in 1988 and 1991; and five "King of the Mountain" jerseys from the three Grand Tours. Herrera was born in Fusagasugá, Colombia. At the 1984 Tour de France he won stage 17, becoming the first Colombian to win a stage of the race. He was kidnapped for 24 hours by FARC in 2000.
Luis Herrera is only the second rider in history to win the "King of the Mountains jersey in all three Grand Tours. The first rider to do so was Federico Bahamontes of Spain.
