Luis Diaz

Luis Diaz is a Mexican auto racing driver born December 1, 1977 in Mexico City. He currently competes in the A1GP Series for A1 Team Mexico.

He drove in the Champ Car support series Toyota Atlantic and Indy Lights from 1999 through 2003. During that time he made two Champ Car starts, both as a substitute driver at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez circuit in Mexico City. He failed to finish both events and moved into the Grand-Am ranks. He was co-driver of the #01 CompUSA-sponsored car with former Champ Car competitor Scott Pruett for Chip Ganassi Racing in the Grand-Am Road Racing Series from 2004-2006.
