Luis Amaranto Perea

Luis Amaranto Perea (born January 30, 1979 in Turbo, Colombia) is a Colombian football defender, an important player for the Colombian national team. His career began in Independiente Medellín. He later played in Argentina with Boca Juniors, with whom he won the Intercontinental Cup in 2003. In 2004 he moved to play for Atlético Madrid.
