Luis María Aguilera Picca is a Latin singer, songwriter, actor and intellectual. He was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in February 1941.

He started his career in the USA, where he distinguished himself as a brilliant showman. He later moved to Spain in 1963, where he had a brilliant musical career, both as a songwriter and singer, mixing romantic and fun lyrics.
In the 1980s, he was the musical assessor of the (TVE) spanish statal TV famous multidisciplinary contest 1,2,3 responda otra vez, directed by Chicho Ibáñez Serrador.
He is acknowledged as the inventor of the Spanish popular musical genre known as La canción del verano. With more than 700 songs to his name, Luis Aguilé has one of the most extensive careers in the music world.
He has also worked as a music producer and author, mainly on children's books and novels. He has been finalist twice for the Premio Planeta of Spanish Novel.
