Lugdunum, a Celtic compound possibly meaning "shining hill" or "hill of the god Lug", was the name of several ancient Gallo-Roman cities and towns, of which the following were the most important:
- Lugdunum, now Lyon, France.
- Lugdunum Clavatum, now Laon, France.
- Lugdunum Convenarum, now Saint-Bertrand-de-Comminges, France.
- Lugdunum Batavorum, now Katwijk, the Netherlands.
Other towns once called Lugdunum include Langres, Lans-le-Bourg, Lansberg, Lens, Lons-le-Saulnier, Loudon, and Loudun.
